Amanda KELSEY Marion

A graduate of University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. and an M.S.Ed., Ms. Marion has been an educator for over 30 years providing one-on-one math tutoring and preparing over 1000 students for college entrance exams both in the classroom and individually. She has taught math at a large public high school and at a K-8 private school in addition to running a Stanley Kaplan Center in Palm Beach County, Florida. As co-director and co-owner of Chestnut Hill Educational Services based in Philadelphia, Mandy has worked for nearly 20 years with partner Virginia Maine to provide local and online community with test prep support.

In 2021, Ms. Marion completed coursework to earn a certificate in College Counseling with distinction through UCLA Extension. Currently an associate member of both IECA and PACAC, she also serves as a volunteer for Scholarmatch, an organization that provides college counseling support to first generation and underserved youth.

In addition to her involvement with Scholarmatch, Mandy is a founding board member of the Springfield Township Education Foundation and active in TODAY is a Good Day, a nonprofit supporting families with premature infants through the NICU journey. In the past, she has served as a board member of the Penn Alumni Club of the Palm Beaches and on the Parent Advisory Committee of Pennsylvania Hospital’s ICN. When she is not talking about colleges or anything related to them, she can often be found on the tennis court or traveling!
